The teaser ends with the unveiling of a wall art that says 'We love you Thalaiva' in front of a shy Rajini who is also seen putting on his coolers with his iconic swirl of the hand. A board on the far right corner, which is blurred, looks similar to the price board one would see in hotels. The wall on the back has a huge painting of Bruce Lee and a wall hanger next to it has a bunch of nunchucks hanging. The shot cuts to Madurai where a silk veshti and shirt-clad, visibly happy Rajini, with a handlebar moustache, is seen walking through a feast. What follows is the instantly recognisable 'Superstar' title card with a trumpet version of the famed theme music by Deva, which then seamlessly blends into Anirudh's Marana Mass music as Rajini walks between a gang of shirtless college freshers and seniors, sporting a sleeved up cardigan, khaki trousers and coolers. The actual first shot of Rajini we get is when he, holding a tray of food, slides into the frame that was focussing on a board having the words ' Annanuku Jai' - the first line of the iconic Pothuvaaga En Manasu Thangam song from the actor's classic 1980 film Murattu Kaalai. Sporting torchlights, the men pour blows at the rival gang only for Rajini to give the final call to stop with a simple hand up the air. Stylishly walking towards a scuffle, he oversees a gang losing the fight to a group of veshti-clad men, who look like Rajini's own folks from Madurai. The teaser starts with the film's theme music in the background playing to a silhouette of the man himself. With close to 1,50,000 likes clocked in just over an hour since its release, unsurprisingly, the teaser has gone viral.
